What’s up, Guys? It’s Kiki! I have a surprise for you! CHAPTER ONE OF MY NEW PHOTOSTORY! Yes, I know isn’t it exciting?!? It’s like The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, and Where the Mountain meets the Moon and The Lord of the Rings twist! I hope you enjoy it!
One day Dottie was walking in the middle of their farm land, with her cat Coco. She enjoyed looking at the scenery. The grass is like an antennae, baring the color of vibrant green. Without straining your eyes too much you can see mountains in the distance. She loved to take walks, it was like she was in a different world. She would reminisce about old times when her Dad was alive. Oh, how much better everything was. Her mom died when she was a baby. It just seems like the world has gotten sad. Now, the sun rarely comes out anymore, and Aunt Iz barely smiles.
She only has one friend, and that would be Coco. She has a shimmering gray coat, with eyes as black as coal. Dottie, and Coco do everything together. When the farm gets dull that’s when they’ll take a walk like this one, So they can get transported to a happier place. Where it seems like anything is possible.
Dottie usually dozes off, until Aunt Iz calls her in for supper. Her dreams are always full of adventure, and action. She very much wished it could be like that in real life. Oh, how she craved adventure! Her Dad would tell her stories about this special sapphire ring. A long time ago in the Sapphire Metropolis this Elvenking wanted a special sapphire ring to be made. He hired people to go to mines, and dig for sapphire. Once, people found some he crafted it into a ring. He gave it to his first-born daughter when she hit thirteen years of age. Then it became a tradition, his daughter passed it down to her first born daughter who passed it on to her first born daughter, and so on. Her dad said that ring was an amulet. A ring that had powers to protect the owner but it has to be given not taken. If you steal it bad things would start happening but Aunt Iz says that’s a bunch a foolishness.
I miss Dad, and his stories so much. He died one year ago at war. It’s never been the same without him.
A rush of wind went past her, and she suddenly woke up. In distance she heard Aunt Iz. “Quick, Dottie!” she hollered. “A tornado is coming!” Then Aunt Iz went off running to open the cellar.
Dottie jumped up, and grabbed Coco. The wind was so forceful she could barely run. “Come on Dorothy, get in the cellar!”, Aunt Iz screamed.
Coco jumped out od Dottie’s arms, and headed for the house. “Coco!”, Dottie yelled than ran after her.
Aunt Iz went down into the cellar by herself, and closed the trap doors. Once Dottie got Coco she looked out the window to see the tornado, but she couldn’t. All she could see was whirling smoke. Then it dawned on her that she was picked up by the tornado! She ran into the closet with Coco, but she got so dizzy that she fell asleep.
