Saige’s “fixed” hair, Dual credit, YouTube, and the Truth about my Writing?

Greetings, Guys! It’s Kiki! Before, we start I want to say: sorry for not posting in awhile. I’ve been busy with other stuff recently. But I’m here now! So, let’s begin!

1. I fixed Saige’s hair. For good!

I don’t know if I’ve told you this before but Saige’s hair was really frizzy and knotted. I think it’s because Lily threw up on her 2 years ago. It was 3AM in the morning so I couldn’t give her hair the “proper” care it needed. Anyway, I used the straighten trick on her hair and it worked! The heat melted the frizz! Her hair is now soft and smells great (I washed her before I straightened it)! Now, here’s some pictures of her hair straight.

Next, I used the straw curls trick to curl her hair. I kept them in for a day and the curls really stay in!

2. Dual credit

My Mom brought up this subject to me a couple weeks ago. If you do not know what dual credit is, it’s where you’re in high school but you’re doing college courses at the same time. The idea intrigues me but it also scares me. If you are reading this and do dual credit, please comment down below what it’s like! Thank you!

3. YouTube

Yes, I’m thinking about making a channel! I’ve been making videos and trailers lately! It’s a lot of fun! But I need to make a new account and still haven’t thought of a name, so this idea is on the back burner, for now.
5. The truth about why I take forever to write stories finally comes out

I want to say that I will get writing TMVOT. The truth is: I’m a nervous writer. I get worried the grammar isn’t perfect or it sounds like a little kid wrote it. Because, somebody once said something like that about my work when I first started this blog. It was a wake up call to start writing better but I just wish it was said a little nicer. I mean I just started! Doll dimensions made a great point once: that it’s ok if your quality isn’t the greatest when you first start. It’s about having fun! I mean that’s why we blog, right? Down the road we’ll grow and mature and stuff. Also, don’t worry! It’s nobody here that said the thing about my writing, it’s a person in real life.

So, thank you for reading this post! It had some good news, real news, and just news in general!

Don’t forget to comment down below: if you do dual credit and anything else you want to say that is related to this post!

‘Till next time,

  1. Hi Kiki, just keep writing what makes you happy and don’t worry too much about the grammar. It’s the content that matters (yes presentation matters a little) but as long as you get your point across and folks enjoy what you write also, then your style will develop over time! You’re doing well.

  2. You did such an awesome job on Saige’s hair!!! 😀 I especially love the ones of her in the grass! Oh, and about the dual credit…I’ve done it for about three years now, and I really like it. My first year, I only did online classes, but since then all of the teachers I’ve had were super nice, and most of the other students don’t even realize that you’re not actually in college. I like it because I can get some of the harder classes done now while I have a built-in tutor (my mom)! 🙂 Oh, and thank you so much for mentioning me! ❤ Also, I really don't think your writing sounds like a little kid! Your writing is wonderful! 🙂 Anyway, long comment, but virtual hugs! 🙂

  3. I have Saige! I’m going to sell her on Ebay though.🙂 Do you know how much they are worth? I guess I got over dolls a while ago.😳 And I sort of have to because I’m going into high school and having a doll would be awkward.🤣

    1. Cool! Well it depends on her condition and how much people are willing to pay. Maybe 250 or something? You know what they say be true to yourself. And if you still like dolls keep them! Don’t give yourself that I’m going to Highschool excuse! I used to think that too till I found AG blogging. It changed my thoughts on older girls with dolls and I’m so thankful for that🙂

  4. Oh, Saige’s hair looks so good! 😀
I know how you feel about writing nerves! I worry my stories are awful and that they’re too cliche or something…but I just have to keep writing and leave those thoughts for the editing round where I try to fix those problems! 😀

  6. Her hair looks amazing! I totally know how you feel about writing… I like writing but not reading it to people. But if you like writing, keep on doing it! It doesn’t matter what people think, as long as you think it’s great and you tried. 🙂

  7. I’m late *again* But Saige’s hair looks really great. My Saige doll has extremely tangled beyond repair, mostly because I haven’t touched in a few months XD. Also, I know how you feel about writing. You’re a great writer, though. I don’t think you have anything to worry about 🙂
