I Finally Got a Camera and Possible Changes…?

DSC_1081

Greetings, Guys! It’s Kiki here! Today, I have for you a post I’ve been dreaming of making since last year: The I got a Camera post! I received my Nikon D3400 for Hanukkah, I was very surprised. My Mom actually tricked me cause, I unwrapped my gift and it was a Nikon box, so I was like “Oh, you got me a camera!” Then my Mom said “Sorry, it’s just a box”, in a seriously convincing voice. So, I was second guessing myself but was still suspicious how my parents’ got a Nikon box. When I opened up the box I was like, “You tricked me!”

Anyway, I’m so, so grateful to my parents’ 😊 Now, here is a little photo-shoot of Chrissa and maybe some pictures of my dog, Lily. I will also do pros and cons and my favorite features 😉 Let’s begin, shall we?

Isn’t Chrissa just beautiful in these pictures?

Now, I’ll go onto the pros and cons 🙂

Some pros: It’s extremely user-friendly (which is great cause I got another camera off eBay in October and sent it back (it was heavily used and old) and that manual and settings were very hard to understand), long battery life, super lightweight, it’s small, the guide button which also goes with user friendly, etc. Mostly, what I love about it is how user-friendly it is 😀

Cons: I mean I just got it less than a month ago so I haven’t found really anything bad with it but I hear it’s video audio isn’t the best. I haven’t had the chance to put it in video mode yet, though.

Now, I’m going onto the ‘changes’ part of this post 😀

Well, I’m really considering buying a domain! I have thought about this idea for awhile but got more serious a couple weeks ago. I love KTTL-G but I’m ready for a change. Something more professional and me. I have already picked out a name, but that’s not going to be disclosed until I buy it 😉 I don’t really know when it will be released; I need time to work every thing out (probably around the summer time). This blog will not be strictly about AG (as much as I love it, it can be hard to only post about it). I know most bloggers do this thing called a “Launch Tour”. If a nice person would tell me in the comments what it is and how to do it I might do it when I buy it and stuff (I’m very out of the loop, bear with me 😄)! If you guys are interested, of course 🙂

So, thank you for reading this post. I hope you enjoyed it 🙂 Do you have a camera or want one? What do you think of self-hosting? Do you know what a Launch tour is?

Till, next time,

Ps: Here’s some Lily pictures:

The end of Hanukkah- Day 8- Blogukkah

Hey, Guys! Sorry, I missed day 6 and 7 😦 I got busy and also had nothing planned. But today I took some pictures of my Dolls Hanukkah Feast and some stuff that I got for Hanukkah. Let’s get started!

DSC_0067

DSC_0076Caro tied Levi up 😀

DSC_0078

DSC_0079While, they waited to eat they tried to see who had the best country accent and played ‘guess my movie’.

DSC_0108Levi also participated when his mouth wasn’t taped! Chrissa’s mouth also got taped cause she started getting to bratty and sore loser-ish.

DSC_0111I got the Eleven chase and the Mike Wheeler Funk Pop!

DSC_0117I got this beautiful jewelry holder thing. I think they’re supposed to be golden angel wings but I guess it could be a mythological creature, as well 😀 How do you like my Luna Lovegood inspired jewelry I made? Possible tutorial?

And I also got something else but I’ll leave that for another post 😉 Well, I hope enjoyed this post and my little Blogukkah series!

See ya next time,

Twilight Inspired Photo-shoot/ Introducing….

Hello, Guys! It’s Kiki! Thank you for taking my polls/surveys! They really helped me get an idea of what you guys want to see 🙂 I was pleasantly surprised that you guys wanted more fandom and photo-shoot posts. So, a couple weekends ago I took photos for a fandom-photo-shoot. I chose Twilight because it’s amazing (😍), it gave me a chance to introduce Levi, and on Freeform they were having “Twifright weekend”. You’re probably wondering: Who’s Levi? Well, um, uh, it’s better to just show you! Let’s begin the shoot! *dims lights then turns them back on*

One more thing, if you are a Twilight hater or do not like slightly romantic photo-shoots this is not a good post for you😉 *now dims lights for real*

Wasn’t it so cute!?!😍It might just be my favorite! 😉 And welcome Levi to the doll family! Don’t forget to comment down below!

Elven Tieback and Info on My School Life

Hello, mellons! It’s Kiki! Long time no see, eh? I get so much homework that “free time” is a foreign concept. This school is college prep so that’s why I have so much work and why it’s set up like one. I have a plaza and at least an hour (sometimes more) a day of “free time” which is the time you get any homework done. Adjusting is the hardest part. I have to get up early and figure out my classes and what they want me to answer for my assignments. Also the kids, they are just trashy here. Saying at least two curse words in  every sentence, talking about inappropriate things, and the boys in my grade especially, make fun of literally everyone (even me). My teachers are pretty nice though, especially my English teacher, Mr. C.

I had a algebra presentation yesterday and I got 95! I was super nervous and it was just me not with a group or anything. I would’ve got 100 if I had more eye contact but 95 is still pretty good. I also have a Spanish presentation Monday. I made a power-point about Antoni Gaudi.

Anyway, I squeezed in hairstyle tutorial pics to my schedule so without further ado!

img_9789

Here are the supplies you’re going to need: wire-wigged brush, baby elastics, spray bottle, and a device so you can read this tutorial post 😀

img_9790Mist hair and brush.

img_9791Take out a little section of hair in the front on both sides (and these sections will stay out the entire time.)

img_9792Now, take on the top and start an intricate French braid.

img_9794

Stop adding hair on the bottom a little past the ear. The correct terminology is a ‘lace braid’.

img_9793Stop adding hair on the top when you hit the middle of the head and just continue a regular three strand braid and then secure with an elastic.

img_9795Repeat on the other side.

img_9796Take a little section and split it into two pieces and then twist.

img_9797It should look like this and then repeat on the other side.

img_9798Clip the two twisted sections onto the top of the head and unravel the braids, but not all the way.

img_9799Take the two unraveled braids and start a fishtail.

img_9800Once you a fishtailed a little, include the twisted sections.

img_9801Finish off the fishtail till you run out of hair and secure with an elastic. Now, here’s a little photo-shoot so you can see her face and to give more of an “elven” feel.

img_9868img_9872img_9869img_9873img_9871img_9870Well, I hope you’ve enjoyed this post! Comment down below if you’re going to try this and if you think it’s beautiful! Also, tell me how you’re school year is going so far?

Novaer mellonanins,

Ps: How do you like my new blog theme and design? And what’s your favorite hairstyle I’ve done so far?

My Trip Pictures to Illinois Pt. 1

Greetings, Guys! It’s Kiki! So, you all should know that I went to Illinois to see my Grandpa (Opa) in late May and that I took TONS of pictures. Yes, I know this an overdue post. Sorting through pictures and watermarking and stuff takes a lot of work, ya know. But fear not cause I have done the perilous journey for your entertainment. So, with that being said, let’s begin!

img_8855

img_8854

The St. Louis arch, which means we’re almost there!

img_8856Finally after to many days and hours of driving we’ve made it to Illinois!

img_8857After a couple more hours of driving, we were greeted by Niñi (I have no idea how to spell it but it’s Spanish for little boy).

img_8860And CC! My cat but everyone (except my Opa) thinks its CCs’ kid. I guess it will always be a mystery 😉

img_8858

img_8863

Here are some random black cats.

img_8872Wandering around his land.

img_8895

img_8864This bull was pretty small but he was a big jerk😐

img_8865

I found these cute little kittens in the barn, scared for their life because of me and Niñi (that dog follows you wherever you go. And it got annoying really quick!)

img_8891I can’t forget about the sheep, who were also afraid of me but the little lambs are so CUTE!!!😍

img_8870

img_8869More wandering…

img_8868img_8867He had so many wild flowers on his land and I loved it.🙂

img_8894img_8911img_8866

img_8896

I found this toad that has one of the best camouflages I’ve seen in awhile, cause I almost stepped on or ran over him with the tractor😂

img_8912This is at the front of his driveway.

img_8882Me attempting to take a selfie with CC… I didn’t work out 😜 Our faces are so weird!

img_8889And lastly me and Chance found out that CC has kittens. Aren’t they cute? I love the gray color on their fur

img_8890Here’s CC with her kittens 🙂

Well, I hope you’ve enjoyed this post! And I’ll post Pt. 2 sometime in the near future!

Bye,

Saige’s “fixed” hair, Dual credit, YouTube, and the Truth about my Writing?

Greetings, Guys! It’s Kiki! Before, we start I want to say: sorry for not posting in awhile. I’ve been busy with other stuff recently. But I’m here now! So, let’s begin!

1. I fixed Saige’s hair. For good!

I don’t know if I’ve told you this before but Saige’s hair was really frizzy and knotted. I think it’s because Lily threw up on her 2 years ago. It was 3AM in the morning so I couldn’t give her hair the “proper” care it needed. Anyway, I used the straighten trick on her hair and it worked! The heat melted the frizz! Her hair is now soft and smells great (I washed her before I straightened it)! Now, here’s some pictures of her hair straight.

Next, I used the straw curls trick to curl her hair. I kept them in for a day and the curls really stay in!

2. Dual credit

My Mom brought up this subject to me a couple weeks ago. If you do not know what dual credit is, it’s where you’re in high school but you’re doing college courses at the same time. The idea intrigues me but it also scares me. If you are reading this and do dual credit, please comment down below what it’s like! Thank you!

3. YouTube

Yes, I’m thinking about making a channel! I’ve been making videos and trailers lately! It’s a lot of fun! But I need to make a new account and still haven’t thought of a name, so this idea is on the back burner, for now.
5. The truth about why I take forever to write stories finally comes out

I want to say that I will get writing TMVOT. The truth is: I’m a nervous writer. I get worried the grammar isn’t perfect or it sounds like a little kid wrote it. Because, somebody once said something like that about my work when I first started this blog. It was a wake up call to start writing better but I just wish it was said a little nicer. I mean I just started! Doll dimensions made a great point once: that it’s ok if your quality isn’t the greatest when you first start. It’s about having fun! I mean that’s why we blog, right? Down the road we’ll grow and mature and stuff. Also, don’t worry! It’s nobody here that said the thing about my writing, it’s a person in real life.

So, thank you for reading this post! It had some good news, real news, and just news in general!

Don’t forget to comment down below: if you do dual credit and anything else you want to say that is related to this post!

‘Till next time,
